  4. I get that. In my experience, the heavies usually pull that attention first; basically any BG / SBG with an ORS, or other shiny things with a CCS or RCS like the Golden Path. This turns out to be an advantage for the supp, and let's them get into close range before the enemy makes them a priority. Also, with it's speed of 9 inches, the supp can usually stay out of range in turn 1 and still get into the fray effectively in turns 2 - 4. further, the triple 5-4-4 damage track and 4/4 DefA/PntDef is nothing to shake a stick at (assuming your defense dice pool rolling skills aren't too unlucky ).
  5. Great thoughts here Seahawk! As for '10. Supplicant SBG' - I can personally vouch for this group. I can't think of a game where I haven't included it actually. It's speed, durability and 18 dice output from 2 solutions makes it very potent at 180pts. I use it primarily as a flanker / harasser / finisher; hunting down damaged Valiants while picking off Paris/Halberds with ease. Excellent addition to many fleet builds in my humble opinion.

  12. Hey Harmer, welcome to the game!!! 1. So to clarify, (so that I read you correctly) in the Carrier Action (1), the (1) means one wing, not one token? That's correct! 2. And one wing is defined as 2-5 Covenant bombers or 2-4 Covenant fighters? I think you might have this confused with the UNSC rules. The following is what you should be looking for: Covenant wings include: 2-5 Fighters or 2-4 Bombers UNSC wings include: 2-4 Fighters or 2-5 Bombers

  15. This is correct! Elements may fire through any other element; friendly or belonging to a foe. The only exceptions would be stated in the rules and character abilities, such as the 'Missile Barrage' loudout of the UNSC (closest enemy element must be targeted by missiles). The 'Missile Barrage' loadout can be enhanced to target *any* enemy element within range using Cortana's 'Missile Command' ability, assuming you have the necessary command dice.
